Maintaining good soil structure is important for resilient cropping, especially as weather becomes more extreme. Not only do we need our soil to stay infield, but run-off can cause problems “downstream.”
Find out more from Jeremy on how he embraces regenerative agriculture techniques to promote good soil health, and about how the Aerworx aerator is part of his toolkit to relieve compaction and maintain healthy soils.
As this kit works when ground conditions are dry, and usually fits well following harvest in arable systems, there is hope this demo will be a timely fix in the Waveney catchment. The kit that will be demoed can be used in arable and livestock systems.
Norfolk Rivers Trust work with farmers to help understand issues facing their businesses, and provide opportunities such as this to share knowledge and find systems that work.
With support from Pasture for Life and the Waveney Farming Cluster.
